About us

Four people sitting together in an opening circle for a psychedelic psilocybin group journey during an Ikaros Project retreat.

Real growth isn’t in the ascent.
It’s in the return.

At the Ikaros Project, we believe real growth isn’t found in endless ascent but in the return. Inspired by the myth of Icarus, we see his fall not solely as a warning against human ambition, but as an invitation to become more balanced, curious, and compassionate as we seek new sources of meaning and fulfillment.

We create spaces where learning from both daring and falling can open new ways of experiencing life. Our psilocybin retreats offer space for expansion and renewal, supported by integration coaching and expert talks that bridge psychedelics with art, science, embodied practice, spirituality, and the deeper questions of being human.

Icarus flew too close to the sun and fell. But what if the lesson isn’t about avoiding flight, but learning how to fly wisely?

In a world full of quick fixes and surface-level self-help, we look beyond the noise for what feels real. Like Icarus, we feel the pull of something radiant, a movement not born of ego but of longing. We are drawn to deeper questions, to truth rather than comfort, to immersion rather than escape. Beneath everyday awareness, we sense a hidden architecture of meaning waiting to be discovered. In moments of awe, reflection, or psychedelic insight, we catch glimpses of something timeless, intelligent, and profoundly alive.

Nature reminds us that growth is rarely linear. It moves in circles, in seasons, in spirals of learning and return. In that spirit, we honor both daring and descent as vital to growth. We carry the fire of experience back into daily life to illuminate it and guide us to a more balanced, creative, and human-friendly world.

We fly not to escape the world,
but to return to it more awake.
