Our Team
The Ikaros Project co-founders, Courtney and Susanna, have a combined 40 years of experience in psychedelic retreat facilitation and clinical psychology. Their mutual respect for the healing powers of therapy, reverence for neuroscience research, and trust in the ineffable wisdom of plant medicine, through the use of psilocybin, combine for a trusted, unique and powerful lens through which to experience your personal growth.
COACHING, SOMATIC COACHING, THERAPEUTIC YOGA
Susanna Hinderks, certified coach
Susanna is the founder of soulforest, a certified Master Coach, somatic coach, and yoga teacher with a focus on the therapeutic side of yoga. Her fascination with the inner life of others began in her youth, and her own relationship with psychedelics reaches back more than 35 years. Over time, she has gathered wisdom through direct experience while also honoring the growing body of scientific research that supports this work.
Her path has always been one of guiding others - from years as a diving instructor in Asia, safely leading people into new worlds, to over a decade of holding space for individuals in altered states of consciousness. She combines extensive training in coaching and embodied facilitation with deep compassion and respect for the courage it takes to truly know oneself.
CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST, EXECUTIVE COACH,
ORGANIZATIONAL CONSULTANT
Courtney Rennicke, Ph.D.
Courtney Rennicke, Ph.D. is a licensed U.S. clinical psychologist with more than 25 years of experience supporting individuals, families, and professionals in their healing journeys. A cornerstone of her career has been her work as an attachment-focused family therapist and certified Trainer in Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP), where she has trained mental health professionals around the world to support vulnerable children and their families with compassion and deep reverence for people’s inherent resiliency.
In addition to her family therapy expertise, Courtney is a Level III trained Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapist (AEDP) and an active member of AEDP’s psychedelic integration supervision group. She brings a deeply relational, body-based, and trauma-informed approach to her facilitation and coaching, helping clients access new possibilities for transformance and connection.
Courtney has witnessed—both in her own journeys and in her work with clients—the profound capacity of psychedelics to access experiences that are often unspoken, fragmented, or disembodied, and to bring a sense of coherence and meaning that can be deeply transformative. Her interest in the human need for safety and belonging also extends into the collective realm, where she consults with organizations and coaches executives on fostering robust, relational, and productive teams.
Originally from New York City and now based in Athens, Greece, Courtney finds joy swimming in the Aegean Sea and sharing playful conversations about sports with her nephews, reminders of the simple, grounding connections to nature and people that make life spectacular.
